Meet Julie

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a board designated LCSW-Supervisor in the state of Texas. I have ten years of experience in the social work field in a wide variety of areas, including writing home studies for foster care and adoption; completing biopsychosocial assessments at a local public hospital; providing direct therapeutic treatment to youth who have displayed problematic sexual behaviors and their families; and practicing individual, group, and family therapy with children, adolescents, and adults.

I am a trauma informed therapist who loves to see people thrive as full participants in their lives and contribute to their own community’s well-being. I have completed additional training in multiple modalities, including EDMR, TF-CBT, DBT, TBRI, and PSB-CBT.

On a personal note, I am an Army brat, raised across the United States and Germany. After completing a bachelor's degree, I spent five years working with youth in Germany. Upon returning to the States, I settled in the DFW area and pursued social work education and career. I enjoy time spent in nature, running, playing board games with family, and evenings on the back porch laughing with friends.
